We are well into 2019 now, and the Microsoft Teams Features keep flying in.
With IP Phones and advances in Direct Routing, we thought it would be good to talk about Microsoft Teams for Telephony and also Teams in the enterprise. We have guest sessions from AudioCodes and Microsoft.
After the meeting, we will head to the pub for networking and catch up. Thanks to Will Rowe (Hancock & Parsons Ltd) for covering some drinks at the pub.
As always, thanks to Polycom for hosting us at the Polycom EEC London.
We also have some Plenom Busylights to give away.
Hope to see you there!

With the Microsoft Teams roadmap and a new Skype for Business Server due in 2018, there is going to be a lot to talk about next year. Hope to see you at our Q1 event. Make sure you are subscribed to the email list for event updates, and if you know someone who might be interested please spread the word!
Microsoft Teams was positioned as the future of Unified Communications and Collaboration in Office 365, ultimately intending it to Skype for Business Online
Microsoft Confirmed Skype for Business Server 2019 scheduled for towards the end of CY2018 and some of the features and changes we can expect.
In this November MUCUGL, we’ll be going over everything we know about the Microsoft Teams roadmap and what this means for Skype for Business. We’ll then dig into what we know about Skype for Business Server 2019. Finally regular and Video expert from Pexip, Graham Walsh, will be giving us an update of all the Ignite news around Video.
As usual, at the end of the event, we’ll head to the pub for networking and catch up. Pure IP has kindly offered to get the first round in too!
Just wanted to let everyone who is part of MUCUGL know that coming up on 9th October 2017 in Birmingham is UCDay. It’s a one day, free to attend community Microsoft conference. We’ve actually expanded beyond Pure “Unified Communications” now and have 5 tracks:
We have some really top speakers across all tracks, and some solid sessions. The event is just after Microsoft Ignite so we’ll have all the latest news and response from that event too!
Really hope to see everyone there, this is a non-profit event coordinated by a number of community leaders and paid for by our kind sponsors. Please let your friends and colleagues know about the event too, we appreciate you spreading the word.
Just a quick note to say thanks to everyone who attended the event. I felt we had some really good interaction. We’ve always said MUCUGL is not about “presenting to people”, it’s about bringing the community together to share knowledge and insight.
As always, we’re looking for feedback/presentation ideas/people who want to present/questions – please email tom at tomarbuthnot .com or hit us on twitter @mucugl @tomarbuthnot and @adamjocobs
There will be a lot of news and updates dropping at Microsoft Ignite at the end of September, both Adam and I will be there, so will be taking notes and bringing all the news back for a MUCUGL in November, stay tuned for that.
