We are well into 2019 now, and the Microsoft Teams Features keep flying in.
With IP Phones and advances in Direct Routing, we thought it would be good to talk about Microsoft Teams for Telephony and also Teams in the enterprise. We have guest sessions from AudioCodes and Microsoft.
After the meeting, we will head to the pub for networking and catch up. Thanks to Will Rowe (Hancock & Parsons Ltd) for covering some drinks at the pub.
As always, thanks to Polycom for hosting us at the Polycom EEC London.
We also have some Plenom Busylights to give away.
Hope to see you there!

We have an expert guest presenter, Graham Cropley, who will give us an overview of Microsoft Teams Direct Routing, the ability to connect your own SIP trunk to Microsoft Teams, including a live demo of his lab setup.
Adam Jacobs will take us through the latest news in new IP Phones for Microsoft Teams and new IP Phones for Skype for Business.
Hope to see you there!

Just a quick thanks to everyone who made it to the user group last week. Great conversation and engagement as always.
Thanks to Graham Walsh from Pexip for doing a great update on all things video and video interop and Pure IP for picking up the drinks in the pub afterwards.
With the Microsoft Teams roadmap and a new Skype for Business Server due in 2018, there is going to be a lot to talk about next year. Hope to see you at our Q1 event. Make sure you are subscribed to the email list for event updates, and if you know someone who might be interested please spread the word!
Just wanted to let everyone who is part of MUCUGL know that coming up on 9th October 2017 in Birmingham is UCDay. It’s a one day, free to attend community Microsoft conference. We’ve actually expanded beyond Pure “Unified Communications” now and have 5 tracks:
We have some really top speakers across all tracks, and some solid sessions. The event is just after Microsoft Ignite so we’ll have all the latest news and response from that event too!
Really hope to see everyone there, this is a non-profit event coordinated by a number of community leaders and paid for by our kind sponsors. Please let your friends and colleagues know about the event too, we appreciate you spreading the word.
Just a quick note to say thanks to everyone who attended the event. I felt we had some really good interaction. We’ve always said MUCUGL is not about “presenting to people”, it’s about bringing the community together to share knowledge and insight.
As always, we’re looking for feedback/presentation ideas/people who want to present/questions – please email tom at tomarbuthnot .com or hit us on twitter @mucugl @tomarbuthnot and @adamjocobs
There will be a lot of news and updates dropping at Microsoft Ignite at the end of September, both Adam and I will be there, so will be taking notes and bringing all the news back for a MUCUGL in November, stay tuned for that.
We’re well into 2017 now and it’s time for February Microsoft UC User Group London. After some good Cloud PBX questions last time, this time we’re going heavy on the live demos (sacrifices will be made to the demo gods ahead of the event).
There is a lot we will demo including Cloud PBX Auto Attendants and Call Queues, with these features due to GA in March we’re hopeful all the core features will be in play for this February meet up, either way, we’ll be demo’ing everything we can. Want to see something specific? Please let us know.
Adam Jacobs will demo Aqua (Polycom in Azure for Skype for Business Online) and show the provisioning wizard, user licensing and scheduling.
As usual, at the end of the event, we’ll head to the pub for networking and catch up.
December is right around the corner, so it must be time for our end of year Microsoft UC User Group London. Since the July user group it’s been a crazy period with UCday, Microsoft Ignite, MVP Summit and various other events and news. We’ve also had SfB Server CU4, some new features into preview in Cloud PBX and Microsoft Teams. With all that going on, we’ve brought together all the important news and all the latest feature information for our December user group.
As usual, we’ll have a pint and a catch up after the event.
Hope to see you there.
